Join us for a conversation with Timika “Timi” B. Lindsay, president and CEO of Anchor Leadership Solutions. Timi is a retired Navy captain, who served in the Navy for over 30 years. In her late role in uniform, she served as chief diversity officer for the U.S. Naval Academy, where she was responsible for DEI strategy for the 4,400 students and 1,500 faculty and staff.
Timi will be joining us to talk about her journey from midshipman candidate to becoming the senior-ranking black female in the Navy. For many, there is a perception that the challenges one might experience as a DEI practitioner in the military might be different. As it turns out, they are more similar than perhaps expected. In this session, we will discuss the differences and how they relate to DEI work in corporate America.
